Teuila was born and raised in Vancouver, WA. She is married to her husband of 15 years. During the day, Teuila works as a Process Specialist for a global engineering company, where she helps manage a specific field service and supports a team of over 20+ field engineers across the country.
Alongside her professional work, Teuila is also a homeschooling mother. Over the last five years, she has learned just how important it is to understand the unique learning styles of children. This experience has deepened her passion for providing meaningful and engaging learning experiences, not only at home but also in her role as Children's Ministry Director. When she took on this role, she was excited to find a curriculum that is both hands-on and fun for kids—one that would help them grow in their faith while having a great time.
Teuila believes that learning about Christ should be an inspiring and joyful journey for children, and she’s thrilled that the church has chosen the Grow Curriculum to help lay a solid foundation of faith for their Young Disciples. She is excited to be part of the Young Disciples ministry team, where she can continue to nurture and support the spiritual growth of the children in the church.
