The mission of United Women in Faith (UWFaith) is to connect women through Christian spiritual formation, to seek creative fellowship with all, and to reach a goal of leadership development through enhanced educational opportunities.
UWFaith welcomes all people who identify as women to join. There is no annual membership fee. Our members give to support the good work we do together to make an impact in the world.

Here in Vancouver, the Rachel Circle of UWFaith meets at VanFUMC at 10 am, the third Wednesday of each month, September through May, with special meetings occasionally in June and July. Monthly meetings give us time for devotions, discussion of interesting and/or timely topics, fellowship, and
refreshments. It’s a safe and sacred space to share prayer concerns and praises.
In 2023, members, as they wished, attended two special separate events: a Spiritual Retreat, held in Ellensburg, and Mission u, an annual educational event. Both events gave attendees time to relax and refresh, develop and deepen friendships, and take a deep dive into their faith heritage and future.

Fruit Valley Elementary/Learning Center’s Food Pantry: Continuing a 20-plus year tradition, we provide family-friendly gift cards from Winco.
Boxes of Love: Partnering with the Boxes of Love Project, we provide babies and children entering foster care from local children’s hospitals with a Box of Love, including handmade treasures, clothing, toys, and fun educational materials.
Rachel Circle also supports Family Promise of Clark County, Shared Hope International, Options360 Women’s Clinic, Free Clinic of SW Washington, Community of Hope, and SafeChoice.
UWFaith advocates for a more just world to improve the lives of women, children, and youth. Around the world, UW Faith works with partners providing direct services to women, children, youth, and families in neighborhoods around the country, including education and economic development opportunities. Circle supports refugee relief efforts, UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief), the United Methodist General Board of Global Ministries (specifically, the Segura-April family, missionaries serving throughout Latin America and the Caribbean).
